Merry Rip-off

Once upon a time, I had to go to the mall. And being as it were the merry season of Christmas, we happened upon Santa. There was a young lad, almost the ripe age of 4, who insisted he needed to sit with the jolly ole' man. Thus, the mother obliged. But what to my wandering eye might appear...the rip-off prices of the keepsake of this blessed event. To which we rrefused and took our own and were on our merry way, no less poor(er)...alas, with a free candy cane and a happy little lad. the end.

That's funny. Good story. But seriously! We actually didn't stop by Santa at the mall, but I heard from someone that pictures were like $20!! WHAT THE???! Where is the Christmas spirit??! Anyway, we have a shop here called Bass Pro Shops and they do a little Santa's Village and take pictures of the kids with Santa and give it to you for FREE, plus they have free games to play and give you a coupon for the kids to eat free in their restaurant. Needless to say, that's where we go. :)

That is so funny.... I am glad you did not get ripped off just to sit on
Santa's lap.

Shane looks happy with his candy cane and Joel does not even know what is going on.

You forgot to mention who took that rad picture! Just Kidding!

You know Santa needs to pay for your kids gifts somehow - hence the cost of photos to sit on his lap. So give the 'ole man a break next time!!! Ha Ha....actually that's why I can't afford to pay for those stinkin' overpriced photos - we gotta pay for bigger and better things!! :-)
