Since I seem to have a 4 year gap between my children....it suffices to say that my maternity clothes each time are usually quite out of style by the next pregnancy. As I see my waistline expand...its becomes ever apparent to me that I may need some maternity clothes. But I don't want to look dumpy and frumpy...Motherhood has some okay stuff....but for the most part I find their stuff overpriced crap and quite unattractive.
Hence this post.....whether currently prego, recently delivered, or just an awesome stylist....I need some places (online, in-store, etc) to look for some cute stuff. HELP!!

I'd give some good tips if I had them, but for some reason I think you would not enjoy my idea of in-style. :) You have always been WAY more stylish than me. For me, the prego life is all about athletic shorts and t-shirts. :) Good luck finding stuff though. Oh, check Old Navy online. They have a maternity section and usually some good sales/clearances too.
Why don't you ask Elizabeth Hasselback where she gets her cute and cheap clothes? She may even give them to you??!!:-) Anyways, you HAVE to look up the Tummy Sleeve - I think it is great for prego-mamas! I love that they try to advertise it for during pregnancy and after (ya right!). I was actually in Target yesterday and was browsing through the maternity clothes - it actually slightly made me want to be pregnant again because they were so cute but that didn't last too long! Have fun getting cute clothes for YOU....
I don't know that I am any expert, but I definitely like to shop at Old Navy and Target for maternity, and then go to Pea in the Pod for a great pair of designer maternity jeans! A little expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Of course you have those awesome legs so you should stock up on skirts and shorts too. You have always looked amazing while pregnant!
I saw a new place on Airline & Mc Cardle called mama2mama. They are a consignment store and don't take clothes older than 4 years, so they try to keep their styles updated. I haven't been in, but it might be worth a trip to see if they have anything good.
Target actually has some cute stuff once in awhile. I like Gap maternity a lot too, it can be a little expensive but they always have clearance. I agree, Motherhood hasn't come THAT far, I only found a few things I liked there over the years. And YAY for the counter being below 200!
Try tops that are regular styles - just bigger. But be sure to find a good fitting jean, shorts and skirts.
Happy Birthday Shawna!!! :)
Happy Birthday Auntie Shawna!!!!! Love -the whole Fam =)
Happy Birthday! We are happy for all your exciting changes! I do Old Navy or Gap Maternity.
No Joke Shawna, go to Forever 21 for some of your maternity clothes. Half the clothes in there you can wear because of the new long flowy style. A lot of empire wasted stuff in there too. Lots of tops you can fit your cute belly into. I wore a lot of that while I was pregnant. Also, I agree, Target and Old Navy have some cute stuff too. Good luck! You are going to be hot pregs no matter what!
Happy birthday...a day late! sorry, I got sick yesterday and fell asleep at 6pm. but I kept telling myself that I needed to tell you happy birthday. of course I didn't get around to it! hope it was a fun day!!!
So now thanks to this post, you have lots of Birthday gift cards to some prego-mama stores!!! Go shopping girlfriend! And have a great last year in your 20's....:-)
Ross has a maternity section...it is hit or miss but the prices are excellent.
