Shots

Who likes 'em? Not me. I wouldn't say I am afraid of them...just don't particularly care for them. Today, however, I gave myself my 1st shot. I was so nervous, thinking it was going to kill to puncture my stomach with this super sharp needle. Actually, surprisingly, the puncture was barely noticable...the only part that was slightly uncomfortable was the pressure put by pushing the fluid from the syringe into the skin. But, I better get used to it...its going to be twice a day for who knows how long (likely a few weeks)and then more shots after these are done. Uggg...The measures we have to go to in order to have a baby!!

Ugh. That's crazy. I'm sending fertile vibes your way.

I couldn't do it. I'm the same way where I can't say I'm afraid of the shot, but I get incredibly anxious like a kid. I've heard of this before, but is it just to give you the right chemical balance to be more fertile? You've been in our prayers :)

EEEK! I don't do well with shots - even after getting them twice a week for years (allergy shots!). You are WAY more brave than I...

I've been thinking of you often... that all goes as smooth as possible. That it's not too painful. That "all" those babies get here soon!

Certainly your name will continue to be mentioned in my prayers. I KNOW he hears too!

love to all!

ouch! You are brave! But you do what you gotta do, and knowing why you are doing it makes it that much easier, I'm sure.

It's such a hard thought process, but the end result is so worth it. I found that the harder I squeezed my stomach, the less it hurt. It's totally worth it, that's how we got our first sweet little boy Kasen. Shots. I pray that it will work and the Lord will be watching over you guys. I understand the process.
